Attending CWRU in 1986 at the height of the Iran-Iraq war and returning to a devestated country in 2003, Shwan Taha has witnessed some of the Middle East's most profound changes. A biomedical engineering graduate, Mr. Taha nevertheless charted an impressive 20 year career in Middl East banking and finance. He is the Founder of Melak Investments and Chairman of Rabee Securities, investment advisory forms concentrating on opportunities in Iraq and the broader region. With offices in Baghdad, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and Istanbul, Mr Taha brings a unique perspective to the rapid changes which have shaken this imporant part of the world
