Shelia Carapico is a Professor of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Richmond. Professor of Political Science and International Studies, University of Richmond. She is the the author of Political Aid and Arab Activism (2013) and Civil Society in Yemen: The Political Economy of Activistm in Modern Arabia (1998). She is on the Editorial Committee of MERIP and has been a Fulbright Scholar.
