Norma Moruzzi is an Associate Professor of Political Science, Gender and Women’s Studies and Director of the International Studies Program at the University of Illinois-Chicago.  Her fields interest are Political Theory, Feminist Theory, Politics of Social Identity, Middle Eastern and Islamic Women, and Film Studies. She is the author of 

Speaking through the Mask: Hannah Arendt and the Politics of Social Identity, (2000) as well as a number of articles about Iranian politics and society.
